Don’t Be a Victim! – On Monday, April 17, a representative from the Randolph County Sherriff’s office will share a presentation with seniors about fraudulent scams that are taking advantage of people in very creative ways. The event will take place at 10 a.m. in the chapel.
Lunch at Mrs. Lacey’s Magnolia House – On Friday, April 21, seniors have an opportunity to travel to Mrs. Lacey’s Magnolia House for lunch. Seniors are invited to enjoy this beautiful one-hundred year old Victorian home in Sanford, NC. Join us for a leisurely lunch on the wraparound porch and southern hospitality. Seniors will leave at 10 a.m. There may also be time to take in a few of the shops in the area.
Visit to Billy Graham Library – Seniors are invited to tour the recently renovated Billy Graham Library and Resource Center on Monday, May 1. Transportation will depart at 8:30 a.m.. The trip also includes lunch at the Dairy Barn Café inside the library. The plan is to arrive back at the church by 4 p.m.
Show at the Narroway Theatre – On Saturday, June 3 a trip is scheduled for the seniors to travel to see the production of SAMSON. To obtain the best seats, reservations must be made far in advance. Contact Eulalie by calling 336-626-2443 to make reservations no later than May 12 to secure the best seats. It parallels the Biblical days of the judges when everyone did what was right in their own eyes, with our current times.
