The Hearts & Hands Mission Craft Group is open to ladies at FBC Asheboro. This group meets the third Monday, January through May, and September through November. We use the Woman’s Missionary Union of NC (WMU) Mosaic to study about missions. Each month, this group learns about a missionary who is working to serve the kingdom somewhere in the world. The group then sets aside a special prayer time to pray for them on their birthday. Additionally, the Hearts & Hands Mission Craft Group sends Blessing Baskets to individuals battling illness or recovering from surgery. Finally, the groups is very active in supporting the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, the Annie Armstrong Easter offering, and the Heck-Jones Offering. We are currently working on a handout for the Senior Adult Choir (the Joyful Singers) to take with them while they are visiting nursing homes and care facilities.
The Hearts & Hands Mission Craft Group is always welcoming new members! If you would like to join, please plan to attend one of their monthly meetings on the third Monday of Jan-May and Sep-Nov at 4:00 p.m. in the Craft Room (located next to the FBC Youth Room).
