Starting in 2025, we’re updating the way we structure our budget to make giving simpler, clearer, and more impactful. Here’s what you need to know about these changes:
Support for our Cooperative Ministry Partners will now be allocated as set amounts in the Missions section of our budget, moving away from percentage-based giving. This update eliminates the need for separate giving plans and consolidates Designated Ministry Funds and monthly Special Offerings under the Missions budget.
Going forward, we will only hold two special offerings each year:
These will continue to be important opportunities for our congregation to support key missions.
To streamline our giving options, only four Designated Funds will remain open for donations:
All other missions and ministries will be funded directly through the General Budget.
Beginning January 1, 2025, if you would like to support a particular missionary or ministry organization beyond what FBC has allocated, we encourage you to give directly to those individuals or groups. Below you will find how you can support these missions/missionaries through direct giving. Any remaining balances in designated funds will be used for their intended purposes until fully depleted.
We’re excited to see how these changes will enhance our ability to support our missions with clarity and consistency. Thank you for your continued partnership and generosity in serving both our community and missions worldwide.
