First Baptist Church, Asheboro, NC, (FBC Asheboro) is prayerfully seeking a full-time Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Adults. Our youth ministry seeks to establish a foundation for building Christian character, morals, values, and behaviors in our young people with the goal of enabling them to understand and recognize who Jesus is and what it means to live for Him only. We worship, teach, and send.
The Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Adults will lead, teach, and equip students and be a resource to families as they make disciples in the home. They will develop disciples within the context of evangelism, worship, teaching, and sending. They will create an environment of intentional faith development.
The Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Adults will foster a meaningful community among young adults and help them connect to the larger body of FBC Asheboro. They will seek to serve young adults through leadership or support of small group Bible studies, gatherings that encourage fellowship, and mission opportunities to spread the Gospel.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years full-time experience leading youth and/or young adult ministry. We are members of the Southern Baptist Convention and Baptist State Convention of NC.

The Fellowship Meal Cook is a part time ministry position of First Baptist Church. This position reports directly to the Business Administrator in planning, directing, and providing the Wednesday fellowship meal for the church. Primary responsibilities include: planning, ordering, preparing, and serving for the Wednesday evening family meal (between 80 to 220 members). The Fellowship Meal Cook organizes and directs any food service volunteers to help with the serving the Wednesday night fellowship meal.
