Each week, the Worship Choir provides both song and leadership for the 11 A.M. service of worship. This ministry not only provides opportunities in singing but also times of discipleship as the choir journeys together in ministry through singing our faith. Outside of regular times of worship, the choir has also served as the centerpiece of annual programs, such as Christmas and Easter presentations.
How do I become a member of the Worship Choir? Make a joyful noise unto the Lord. – Psalm 100:1
Simply show up at our next rehearsal time on Wednesday nights. Our choir leaders will gladly assist you in getting the materials you will need and a seat in the appropriate section.
When are rehearsals?
The Worship Choir rehearses weekly in the Music Suite (Room 212) at 7:15 – 8:30 P.M. on Wednesday nights. These rehearsals are times of musical and spiritual preparation for weekly worship leadership.
When does the choir sing?
The choir leads in our Sunday morning service at 11 A.M. They assist in leading congregational singing as well as giving their own choral offerings. Typically, the choir continues to meet during the summer months though sometimes on a more limited basis.
What time is Sunday morning warm-up?
The choir meets each Sunday morning at 10:40 A.M. in the Music Suite to warm-up. Following this time of preparation and prayer, the choir processes into the sanctuary at the beginning of the worship hour.
